MY STORY

I was born in A Coruña, a small city by the wild Atlantic Ocean and as far as I can remember, I was always involved in music.
I used to rush after classes to go to the local band rehearsals, I later spent some years performing myself with different bands until I finally decided to work exclusively composing and producing music for films.

By one of those weird chances in life, in 1985, a guy that was playing in the same band that I was, started worked for a television producer and I had already my own recording studio: It was the beginning of a true relationship with the audiovisual media , and it started with some sound recording for a TV documentary. After that, I started to do some more technical sound work and also, composing soundtracks for short movies and after some years, I managed to have my own spot in the production of movie soundtracks.

In 1998 and 1999 I got the Best Original Soundtrack award from the AGAPI( Galician Independent Producers Association) for the short movies "Paranoia Dixital" and "Sabes que te quero" and again, in 2006 for the animation movie "El sueño de una noche de San Juan"

However, my greatest success was the composition and music direction of the soundtrack for the animation movie "El bosque animado" which was nominated by the Spanish Movie Academy as the Best Soundtrack Album and got two awards for the Best Animation Movie and the Best Original Song.

My way of looking at life is through music, but I also look at music through life, because movies have a life of their own and every time  I create a new soundtrack, I can feel it growing from the begining,  and staying through time.
